Tis the Season

Made a yummy Thanksgiving dinner with Lana. I don't know how to cook for just two people (still) so if anyone wants to come visit, there's plenty left over!!

Lana Kaye and me! Apparently everyone is thinking that we're related lately.

Put up the Christmas tree last week. I just love it. :)

Tried taking a picture of Gauge and myself for Anthony... Gauge went nuts. haha

So I took one of myself. :)

Gaugerton Belvedere Lamping

Yes.... we extended his name. hahaha. So ridiculous. I love it.

He's so spoiled... a nice pillow AND a blanket that he literally carries around with him everywhere. All kinds of adorable. :)

The day I bought him a new rope. I believe he's thinking "Don't touch my rope."

Loves it so much that he sleeps with it in paw. haha

I just love the look on his face in this picture. Innocence at its greatest.

Gauge playing with his rope. Disregard the ridiculous audio from the Dr. Phil show I had on.

Me and my #2 Man

Life has been pretty boring without Anthony around.... Gauge really misses him. Taking care of a weim by yourself isn't exactly the most relaxing job ever, but it's worth it. :) He's only had a few episodes where I've wanted to beat him to death. haha

I was surprised that he sat still long enough for photobooth to snap this picture. :)

....I'll try to update more often.... maybe I'll post some video clips from my choir concert...

Stay tuned. :)

A Few Random Things...

They're such good buddies. :)

We went to the Utah State Fair with Dan and Lana.

This stuff was so good. Huge turkey leg.

I think Tony enjoyed it very much. :)

I made Sid a skirt for her 5th birthday.

Lana and I threw a party for the boys last weekend. This was the only picture I took. Lame.

Tony and I went to Oktoberfest again this year. Ate the same good food, drank the same yummy beer and watched the same awesome world champ yo-yoer.

Black bier, sauerkraut and a bratwurst on a pretzel bun. Delicious.

Tony's beef rouladen, sauerkraut and german potato salad.

Tony got an early Christmas gift. Pretty cool - Bought it from the crazy guy below.

MMMMMmmmm... black bier.

And then here's Gauge - We were packing for Tony's deployment and this is what he did. I don't think he wants Tony to leave.

Monte Cristo

Tony and I went camping up in Monte Cristo with Dan and Lana for the long Labor Day weekend. It was so much fun.... and also insanely cold. We were at 9200 feet above sea level so you can imagine how cold it got during the night. Lets just say I'm glad we had Gauge to keep us warm. :)

Here are some pics from the trip.

Views from the hike Tony and I went on -- really gorgeous.

Gauge found the chair.

And it turned into this...

Which turned into this.... my big baby. :)

Playing ladder ball! This is definitely not our game. Tony and I should probably stick to dominating at cornhole.

We drove down to the causey reservoir where Dan and Tony did some cliff jumping... Lana and I watched. It looked fun though!

Night of Amazingness

Yes. I said amazingness.

Tony and I went to the Dep Leppard / Heart concert last week. SOOO GOOD! Definitely glad we went. These two bands were just awesome... and I've got crappy pictures and video to prove it.

Heart!!!!! She seriously sounded amazing.

Def Leppard!!!!

Painting and Camping - Things I love to do.

Last weekend Tony and I got around to making our home "ours" -- We didn't want to go nuts with the painting so we just picked accent walls in the living room and the kitchen. I think it turned out really great! We had a little difficulty with Gauge getting near the wet walls though. I had just rolled the living room wall and Gauge got really close to it - Tony yelled at him and our good (big) puppy sat like he always does when we raise our voice... lucky for us he sat right on the wall and got paint clear down his back. Tony got him outta there way too quickly for me to get a picture. :)

Here's the kitchen - it's really a taupe color even though this picture makes it look a little green. We ordered a small kitchen cart/island to put in that huge dead space.... of course delivery is delayed. :P

Here's the living/dining room - I love the green wall next to the plum drapes. So pretty. :)

This past weekend we went camping in Mantua. It was a great campground with a creek that ran through it and a reservoir nearby. Gauge was so good! We kept him off his leash most of the time and he behaved like such a gentleman. I have to give him props because there were some really crazy dogs there and he stayed so calm around them. :) Here are some cute pics of our pretty boy.

At the reservoir -- Gauge liked the water but wouldn't go in very far.

Ready for a little walk!

We walked up to this huge field and let Gauge go crazy. He loved running all over!

Post-walk/run. He laid there for quite awhile. :)

Our new home

I finally took enough pictures to show you our new home. I didn't take pictures of everything but this gives you a good idea. :)

Our little back yard and patio.

Front door area where the 1/2 bath is.

Master bath upstairs.

Master bedroom - I didn't feel like taking 3 pics just so you could see it all. :P

Here's one more of Gauge. :)
