Painting and Camping - Things I love to do.

Last weekend Tony and I got around to making our home "ours" -- We didn't want to go nuts with the painting so we just picked accent walls in the living room and the kitchen. I think it turned out really great! We had a little difficulty with Gauge getting near the wet walls though. I had just rolled the living room wall and Gauge got really close to it - Tony yelled at him and our good (big) puppy sat like he always does when we raise our voice... lucky for us he sat right on the wall and got paint clear down his back. Tony got him outta there way too quickly for me to get a picture. :)

Here's the kitchen - it's really a taupe color even though this picture makes it look a little green. We ordered a small kitchen cart/island to put in that huge dead space.... of course delivery is delayed. :P

Here's the living/dining room - I love the green wall next to the plum drapes. So pretty. :)

This past weekend we went camping in Mantua. It was a great campground with a creek that ran through it and a reservoir nearby. Gauge was so good! We kept him off his leash most of the time and he behaved like such a gentleman. I have to give him props because there were some really crazy dogs there and he stayed so calm around them. :) Here are some cute pics of our pretty boy.

At the reservoir -- Gauge liked the water but wouldn't go in very far.

Ready for a little walk!

We walked up to this huge field and let Gauge go crazy. He loved running all over!

Post-walk/run. He laid there for quite awhile. :)
