Sunday Fun Day

We went to the Utah State Fair this past weekend. So much fun filled with rides, deep fried snickers, BBQ sandwiches and elephant ears.

Tony's very first elephant ear!! Too bad it was probably the worst one I've ever had. :P

our camping extravaganza

Tony and I went camping for the first time together, and we had a total blast. It was hard to find a place with open campsites, but we found one at the Wasatch Mountain State Park a little over an hour away from our home. Here are just a few pics from our adventure.

We drove a little ways to go swimming at Deer Creek. There were a lot of boats out... wish we would have had one because that water was freezing!!!! Such an amazing view though.

We went on a hike up the mountain next to our site for a bit...

We made it up to where there was a lot of glacier rock... seemed like it went on forever!

We took the scenic route back through Park City... drove up a mountain (which terrified me!) and saw the most amazing vews!

We're big breakfast eaters. Honestly... eggs, bacon, sausage, toast... we love it all.

I especially love eggs benedict....

I also love football and wine...

Or Tony and I getting dressed up for a special occasion...

...and us being goofballs... :)

I don't have kids so I blog about food...

I'm a country girl. I love meat and potatoes. It's an obsession really.

Anyway, Tony grilled some yummy brats and I made homemade sweet potato fries. (my favorite!!) It was quite delicious.
