Bye bye, Jenny!

I think most of you know this, but we got rear-ended a couple weeks ago on our way to one of my choir festivals in West Valley. We were completely stopped in traffic and this lady decided that she didn't want to stop and ran right into the back of my car. Interesting evening.... the lady who hit us asked if it was bad to drive on a suspended license... wow. Turns out it was actually expired. She just didn't know what she was talking about... but still! Craziness.

Anyway... we were both fine... I just had a nice knot on my leg from hitting the glove box. After the police came, we were on our way to the choir festival. My kids did great. Straight 1's (which is the best rating you can get) :)

Enjoy the photos. :)

And then the adventure of picking out a new car began....

I thought I wanted a Traverse, but Tony surprised me with a new GMC Acadia. :)

Tony in the sales office. hahaha

They made me take this ridiculous picture with our salesman, Jonny.

Welcome to our home, Layla!

After a week of driving her, I finally took that tag off of the seat.

Spacious third row seating for all of those kids that we have. HA!

I still think it's so cool that the door closes by hitting a button. It's the little things.
PS: do you notice someone sneaking into the picture?? :)

He wants to get in so badly. It hasn't happened yet.

Here are some extra photos to enjoy...

Such cuddlers.

Tony helped me sew new patches onto his ABUs. He was in charge of the seam ripping. Worst job ever. haha

I asked Siri where the nearest cleaning place was.... this was how she responded. ?!? She's fun.

Tony and I took a trip to check out the new mall in SLC. There's a creek that runs through the entire thing and it also has a retractable glass roof. Pretty awesome. Too bad most of the stores there are for rich people. :P

YAY!!!!

Tony is home and I couldn't be happier. :) The last two weeks have been so nice just having him here and us getting to spend so much time together. Of course, he was put on swing shift so it's back to hardly seeing him anymore, but it's better than him being in Korea.

Here are some of the pics of his homecoming. :)

Me and Lana waiting.... so patiently. HA!

There he is!!!

Easter picture!

This post is primarily pictures of my sister's kids. haha

OK, so I'm FINALLY putting up a few pictures from my trip to Ohio.... I thought I took a lot but I really didn't.... so here's just a few for ya. :)

On Christmas Eve, the kids opened a gift from Nonna.... they were rainy day jars full of odds and ends. Pretty much the coolest thing ever when you're 5 and under. :) The girls had a blast with the silly string.

Tried to get Uncle Lee...

Kinzie got Nonna's hair pretty good. haha :)

Magnets are cool.

I dont understand why kids always love playing in boxes... but this was adorable. This pic is post "dive-in-the-box" He was yelling "ta-da!"

Sid with her new nightgown I made (with my mom's help, of course). I made a blue one for Kinzie too, but none of the pictures turned out very well.

Kinz helped Alysse and Dante carve the turkey.... and by "helped" I mean she stood there and ate a bunch of turkey.

Me and my cousin, Brooke.

Grandpa Gumby and Chloe. They sat like this for quite awhile.... I wish I could do this with Gauge without feeling like he was going to squish me. haha :)

Cheeseball pic of Mia and I.

Sid was my little helper in the kitchen.

Went to Mia's house later on that week to visit them with my Dad. Gmma and Pa bought them an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas so we tried it out. Smallest cookies ever.

We eat the cookie dough in this family. :)

Gauge's new toy from Nonna. He loved it.... for about the 3 days that it lasted. :)

Lana and I celebrated the New Year by going to Tapanyaki, a Japanese steakhouse. Super fun and delicious. I'm also wearing the necklace that Tony bought for me in Korea. That little sneakster bought me a Christmas present when he wasn't supposed to. I love it, though. :) Thanks again, babe!

Gauge dressed up for the occasion, as well. (Thanks, Aunt Mia for the bow-tie!)

Welp, that's all for now. Glad I got to see most of you while I was back home. Can't wait until this summer when we get to see all of you!! :)

Love,
Chels

Tis the Season

Made a yummy Thanksgiving dinner with Lana. I don't know how to cook for just two people (still) so if anyone wants to come visit, there's plenty left over!!

Lana Kaye and me! Apparently everyone is thinking that we're related lately.

Put up the Christmas tree last week. I just love it. :)

Tried taking a picture of Gauge and myself for Anthony... Gauge went nuts. haha

So I took one of myself. :)

Gaugerton Belvedere Lamping

Yes.... we extended his name. hahaha. So ridiculous. I love it.

He's so spoiled... a nice pillow AND a blanket that he literally carries around with him everywhere. All kinds of adorable. :)

The day I bought him a new rope. I believe he's thinking "Don't touch my rope."

Loves it so much that he sleeps with it in paw. haha

I just love the look on his face in this picture. Innocence at its greatest.

Gauge playing with his rope. Disregard the ridiculous audio from the Dr. Phil show I had on.

Me and my #2 Man

Life has been pretty boring without Anthony around.... Gauge really misses him. Taking care of a weim by yourself isn't exactly the most relaxing job ever, but it's worth it. :) He's only had a few episodes where I've wanted to beat him to death. haha

I was surprised that he sat still long enough for photobooth to snap this picture. :)

....I'll try to update more often.... maybe I'll post some video clips from my choir concert...

Stay tuned. :)
