Beau is 5 months!

This kid. He is just so much fun. He loves to laugh, touch and smile at Gauge, splash in the bathtub, and watch VeggieTales.

Answered prayer!

We took Beau in this week for an evaluation at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. We were referred there by Beau's pediatrician and physical therapists because he has developed plagiocephaly. I have been really dedicated to repositioning his head constantly in hopes that his flat spot would correct itself naturally. Well, my efforts have paid off!!! They said he absolutely did not need the helmet and his head would round out on its own. I am so relieved that he won't need the helmet, because I just know that it would have been a nightmare. 23 hours a day?! No, thanks!

Fun with the cousins

We had a blast this past weekend hanging out at Nonna's with Sid, Kinz and Deacon! Beau *seriously* has so much fun with them! (Or should I say *literally* Deacon???) 😃

I'm so glad that we are able to come visit every month!

Cereal!

It's hard to believe that Beau is old enough for rice cereal already, but the doctor gave us the green light to go for it!

This was definitely an interesting experience for both Beau and myself. We're both learning, that's for sure! 😊

I don't think he knows how to feel about it yet. 

Our little chunker

Beau had his 4 month well visit today.

He's weighing in at 18.4 lbs (92nd percentile) and is 25.5 inches long (60th percentile).

He got his second round of shots and took them like a champ. I keep thinking it's harder on me than it is him!
